With Ada, Hanne Willmann presents a design that reinterprets the Freifrau design language in a distinctive way.
A key feature is the solid wood frame, which is deliberately highlighted to give the chair a clear, powerful presence. The design combines stability with a delicate balance of form, creating a piece of furniture that feels both natural and unique.
Inspiration from the ’70s: Ada’s design language draws on the soft curves of the 1970s and translates them into the present. Echoes of the fashion of that era—large collars, loose silhouettes, and a sense of freedom—subtly resonate. The result is a design that not only impresses with its form but also conveys a certain lightness and zest for life that immediately permeates the space.
