Marie Lounge Chair High

Whoever takes place on the Marie chair, developed by Hoffmann Kahleyss, has arrived - in the here and now. The openness of the design is reminiscent of the outstretched arms when greeting a familiar person and conveys a sense of security.

This gesture is emphasised in the the spacious lounge version of Marie, the comfort of which is enhanced by an integrated  rocker-tilt mechanism that is easy to operate using a lever on the side. The armchair is also characterised by the loose upholstery of the backrest shell, which is held in place by a filigree bracket. In contrast to the chair, the frame is detached from the statics of the frame, which is based on a central column with a cross base. With the introduction of the 4-legged base, the lounge models in the collection have a new look. The new Marie Lounge Chair High model with its extra high backrest reflects the core idea of Marie: cosiness and comfort. It invites you to lean back, leave everyday life behind and sink into gentle relaxation. But it also creates a space for encounters and conversations - perfect for living areas, lounge areas or cosy reading corners.

The new design is complemented by a matching footstool. The frame of the armchair and ottoman is available in all Double Brand colours, while as usual, there is a wide selection of textiles and leathers for the upholstery.
